The Third Annual Conference on Communication Networks and Services Research (CNSR2005) will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, May 16 - 18, 2005 at the Citadel Halifax Hotel. This annual conference is jointly sponsored by Dalhousie University, University of New Brunswick (UNB), Université de Moncton (UdeM) and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency's (ACOA) Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF).

The proceedings from CNSR2004 have been archived in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. CNSR2005 is sponsored in cooperation with the IEEE Computer Society's Technical Committee on Computer Communications (TCCC).

Technical Topics:
Technical papers describing original research in the field of communication networks and services are invited. Topics and areas to be presented at the conference are listed below. However, papers outside these areas are also welcome with a requirement that they describe current original work in the fields described, either theoretical or applied and have not been published elsewhere. Both industrial and academic contributions are invited.

Tutorial Information:
Prior to the regular conference sessions, one-day tutorial or special sessions will be offered on May 15, 2005. Proposals for the tutorial or special sessions are solicited from both industrial and academic participants.

Proposals for Tutorial/Special Sessions:   December 14, 2004
Submission Deadline:   January 7, 2005 (Firm)
Notification of Acceptance:   February 3, 2005
Final Manuscript Due:   March 4, 2005
Author Registration Deadline:   March 4, 2005
Conference in Halifax:   May 16-18, 2005

All submissions must be electronic and should be uploaded through the CNSR2005 Web site at http://www.cnsr.info/Events/CNSR2005/papers.php. Hard copies will not be accepted.
