Nomination can suggest any individual (except award committee members) who has made a major contribution to the distributed computing field. The award committee will select one or two winners in June based on the guideline. For nomination, please send the following materials to TCDP chair Jie Wu (jie@cse.fau.edu) by March 17, 2008: (1) A one-page nomination form (download from http://tab.computer.org/tcdp/awards.html) (2) An up-to-date vita of each nominee. Nominations received after March 17, 2008 will be considered for the following year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join TCDP The TCDP welcomes IEEE Computer Society members with an interest in distributed computing. There are many ways to participate in TCDP activities. Please contact Dr. Jie Wu, TCDP chair, at jie@cse.fau.edu for more information. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ News Letter Editor: Prof. Jiannong Cao Department of Computing Hong Kong Polytechnic University Email: csjcao@comp.polyu.edu.hk ________________________________________ TCDP-announce mailing list TCDP-announce@ml.comp.polyu.edu.hk An archive of previous TCDP Newsletters can be found at: http://tab.computer.org/tcdp/publications.html End of TCDP Newsletter, February 2008 ******************************************************************************
