The IEEE Engineering of Computer-Based Systems Technical Committee is tasked with studying and supporting systems-engineering efforts related to systems involving computers. ECBS members actively perform research in emerging areas of computer-based systems design, develop computer-based systems for industry and government, and assist in standardization of tools and techniques.

Visit our Activities Page to learn more about ongoing ECBS related activities. Of particular interest is our annual conference held each spring. Visit our Newsletter Page to learn more about current ECBS work. Visit our Communities Page to find others engaged in ECBS research, development and standardization. There are also instructions for having your ECBS community listed on the page. Finally, visit our Organization Page to learn more about the organization of the technical committee. There are always opportunities to participate in the Technical Committee.
