TCI:

The Technical Committee on the Internet is a forum for furthering the research for the advancement of internet. The forum's interest spans across many disciplines and areas of computer science and engineering that are shaping the Internet - the grand symbiosis.

One of the special focus of this forum is the emerging internet-based applications and their impact on all aspects of Internetworking.

TCI welcomes discussion in a wide range of topics- from application software, middleware, systems, networked multimedia, e-commerce, internet security, to the networking and server hardware.

The forum will facilitate exchange of ideas, and research in any of these areas. 

To further this goal, TCI has established a Standards Subcommittee and is actively working to organize/ co-sponsor research conferences. It also plans publishing a Newsletter bringing the latest research, innovations and events to its members.
