The IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Distributed Processing (TCDP) addresses the technical aspects of specifying, designing, implementing, and evaluating distributed computing systems. Specific topics of interest include executive and operating systems for decentralized control, logical and physical interconnection and communication, reliability and fault tolerance, systems and hardware architecture, distributed databases, and software specification, verification, applications, and systems. TCDP sponsors workshops and conference sessions on these and related topics, and sponsors the annual International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (ICDCS), along with International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Systems (MASS) and the International Conference on Distributed Computing Sensor Systems (DCOSS)...more
